This is no youngster's tribute band, but 3 former actual Kinks members (Mick Avory, Ian Gibbons, and John Dalton), plus Dave Clark on guitar and lead vocal (covering the great Davies' brothers positions on stage). Dave has worked with The Beach Boys and the Noel Redding Band and together with the "Kast Off Kinks" they all deliver a massive compliment to the music of the Kinks. As for the motive for doing this, they just want to keep the fantastic music of the Kinks playing live. Kinks fans will not be let down by this show. These former Kinks members have a total of 70 years combined Kinks playing experience.
