Kate's Kitchen Band believe in giving the audience a good time. And the Caller teaches all dances, so no prior knowledge is needed, whatever age you are.
English traditional music is enjoying a real revival. Acts such as Bellowhead and Seth Lakeman have broadened the appeal with new levels of high energy performance and drama. Kate's Kitchen Band are at the fun end of the spectrum with a lineup as eclectic as it is varied, from top end piccolo to acoustic double bass for that deep-in-the-belly underpinning. In between are melodeons (button accordions), fiddles, percussion, guitar & mandolin.
