Award-winning, genre-bending guitarist-composer Antonio Forcione released his new album Sketches Of Africa in 2012. Inspired by recent tours throughout Africa, this wonderful new album showcased his compositions with local musicians who, together, evoke a joyous, spiritually beguiling homage to a continent still going through immense change.

Breaking the mould of most conventional popular guitar sounds, whether in the field of jazz, Spanish, Brazilian, folk, felamenco, pop, rock classical or improvised music, Antonio Forcione draws on the full dynamic range of the instrument, using his entire body as a percussive tool. Dubbed the Jimi Hendrix of the acoustic guitar world, Antonio has recorded 16 albums and opened for Phil Collins, Bobby McFerrin and Jools Holland.
