Teddy Bear Hospital
Join student doctors from the University of Sheffield for an an interactive fun filled session aimed at reducing childhood anxiety about hospitals and doctors, and promoting child health, as well as giving Student Doctors valuable experience with children.
Children and their bears will have the opportunity to have a one to one consultation with a teddy bear doctor, followed by many interactive sessions where children will be able to look at x- rays, a Teddy MRI, use stethoscopes to listen to their hearts, get teddy bandaged and talk about any fears or concerns they may have. Also, several exciting stations will be run by the University of Sheffield Orthoptics and Dental Students.
