Bright Phoebus Presents: Martin Simpson's 60th Birthday Celebrations!
There will be all sorts of special things planned for this celebration of BP Collective member Martin's 60th birthday, including a brand new CD to be launched at this year's Cambridge Folk Festival. Plus Martin is hoping to have some free downloads available on his birthday weekend, of music recorded for the CD as previews of what he's been doing.
Martin is one of the word's best finger style guitarists and Award winning songwriter. He's worked with Richard, Jackson Brown, Martin Carthy, Steve Miller, June Tabor, Martin Taylor and many others and he's currently in the studio with Richard Hawley.
BP gigs at The Greystones often have surprise guests and these two nights won't be any exception so go along and help celebrate this wonderful singer, songwriter and stunning guitar player, celebrate his 60th year on the planet!
