If you haven’t heard of it before, Pecha Kucha means ‘chit chat’ in Japanese and is a global, viral phenomenon running in over 500 countries across the planet…Sheffield was the 300th.
The thing that makes it so different and exciting is the 20x20 format. Each presenter is given 20 slides and just 20 seconds per slide to present. PKNSheff has been running for over two years now, showcasing the passions and inner-workings of the minds of some of the city’s best known and as yet unknown talents. Each night is unique with a different set of fascinating speakers and live music/entertainment; creating a truly different event experience with an entertaining, educational and inspiring atmosphere for all.
