Quiet Loner
Quiet Loner is the vehicle for the songs of Manchester's Americana superhero Matt Hill. Singer-songwriter Matt has been at the forefront of roots music in the Northwest for several years now, as both performer and promoter. Expect a bunch of top country twinged tunes with surprisingly British, darkly cynical lyrics. Frequently compared to Elvis Costello and Richard Buckner, Quiet Loner manage to capture loss, (literal) heartbreak yet also pained optimism in a truly unique fashion.
