New Order
One of the most acclaimed and influential bands of the last four decades, New Order pioneered the electronic sound that helped pave the way for the dance/house music explosion at the end of the '80s. The band has had a profound influence on music and is cited by legions of artists as an inspiration. Their classic 'Blue Monday' remains a seminal electronic anthem to this day. The group reformed for a pair of charity gigs in 2011, replacing original bassist Peter Hook with Tom Chapman. The current line-up is Bernard Sumner (vocals, guitar), Stephen Morris (drums), Gillian Gilbert (keyboards, guitar), Phil Cunningham (guitar, keyboards) and Tom Chapman (bass).
