Never miss another 'Alfie Brown' show
Alfie Brown is an observational comedian. He observes (occasionally screaming) the hypocritical standards of censorship in popular music, the irresponsibility of producing bad art and the unscrupulous homogenisation of comedy, whilst making you laugh. He also (comedically) observes a world in which greed comes before truth and how the heavyweights of the culture industries keep us addicted for profit, whilst - still - making you laugh. There is heroin in the gruel.
Critically acclaimed and critically-berated Edinburgh Fringe 2012 sell-out success.
“one of the boldest new voices I’ve encountered . . . mapping a route to a different class of humour” The Guardian
Alfie Brown's first stage credit was when he was 15 in Harry Hill's stage show Wild Horses. The son of Dead Ringers star Jan Ravens, he started performing stand-up at the age of 18 in August 2006. He has appeared on BBC2's The Grumpy Guide To Teenagers.
'Quite simply the future of British stand-up' (Brian Donaldson, The List)
'Brown's is one of the boldest new voices I've encountered... mapping a route to a
different class of humour' (Brian Logan, The Guardian)
'Calls himself an observational comic' (Kate Copstick, The Scotsman)
'A true delight, his delivery was natural and his jokes were sharp' (Such Small Portions)
'Incredibly interesting new comedy voice' (Time Out),
