Plan B heads to the forests next summer for a series of concerts as part of Forestry Commission Live Music, which will see him perform in spectacular woodland locations across the country.
Plan B
Plan B (Ben Drew) singer-songwriter, rapper, actor and film director came to prominence with the 2006 release of the critically acclaimed hip hop album 'Who Needs Actions When You Got Words'. The East Londoner can spit rhymes and hold his own against any MC or rapper, but can then suddenly switch into a delicate, sweet white soul croon that would shame any boyband member. He accompanies himself on an acoustic guitar, playing in a curiously folksy, fingerpicking style. But the killer punch is the lyrics - bleak, cinematic, X-rated urban poetry laced with a mordant wit and a strong dose of pathos.
