The Blue Bishops + The Chairs
We are pleased to welcome back The Blue Bishops with Geoff Grange (Bill Wyman,Nicky Hopkins) on vocals/harmonica/guitar. Jim Rodford (Kinks,Animals,Argent,Zombies) on bass, Justin Hildreth (Joan Armatrading,Thomas Dolby,Nina Hagen) on drums and band founder Simon Burrett (Martin Barre) on guitar and slide guitar.
They'll be supported by young local band The Chairs.
Expect a mixture of classic R&B covers and some edgy rock blues.
The Blue Bishops
The Bishops play hard, rocky-edged blues which has a wide crossover appeal from blues afficionados to hard rock fans. The renowned Geoff Grange fronts the group on vocals and guitar, while bass duties are assumed by Jim Rodford (Kinks, Animals & Friends, Zombies). Justin Hildreth provides his well-travelled drum experience and the lineup is completed by founding member and lead guitarist Simon Burrett.
