Witt Studio Chorus

We are all descendants of the people who were involved in WW1, and our present day lives have been indelibly marked by their actions. In so many ways we share the same worries, troubles, hopes and dreams that they had.

Set in a WW1 field hospital, where the fortunes of war have brought together 8 ordinary men and women into an extra-ordinary situation, we explore who these people were before the war invaded their lives.

By cutting back-and-forth between this field hospital footage (shown during the performance on a cinema screen above the stage) and live performances of Musical and Opera scenes we go on to discover how similar we are to these people.

This well-crafted show combines fabulous singing with imaginative staging and lighting, and includes scenes from the world’s most famous operas and musicals.

Along with an array of spectacular professional operatic singers and renown instrumentalists, at the very heart of the show is the 100-strong in-house Witt Studio Chorus, one of the South's most innovative and exciting choruses.

This show will be co-hosted by Witt Studio Directors Anthony Witt and Louise Morgan.
