The Backside Monologues

The Backside Monologues is a contemporary play exploring love, friendship, experiences and the many ups and few downs of a black female life journey. In this piece we see three black women who through poetry, prose, song and movement share their experiences of life. They go beyond the limitations of stero-types and body parts and discover they all have the same soul song. A joint production between Unity Arts and Kuumba Nia Arts.

Written by Amantha Edmead, directed by John Sailsman. Suitable for ages 10+
