Lunchtime Recital - Norway: Kerenza Peacock, Alison Farr
Part of a tuneful series of lunchtime concerts based around 'A Listener's Guide To Europe' theme with some of the finest musicians in the country to brighten the week.
Kerenza Peacock and Alison Farr perform pieces by two much travelled Norwegians – Grieg and Ole Bull - who really loved their homeland and its folk melodies.
Kerenza Peacock
Kerenza, born in Ipswich, is first violinist of the Pavao Quartet, with whom she has performed across the world. Releasing four CDs which are regularly played on Classic FM, Radio 3 and Radio 2, Kerenza has also recorded for films and TV, and led the band for many West End shows.

Alison Farr
Alison was born in Poole, Dorset. Since winning the piano section of the BBC Young Musicians 1998 and being a finalist in the Newport International Competition for Young Pianists in 2003, she has performed as a soloist in many prestigious venues, including the Wigmore Hall, Purcell Room and the Cadogan Hall.
