PAC Home Talk: Kevin Hunt

Kevin Hunt was born in Liverpool in 1983, graduating from the North Wales School of Art and Design in 2005 and currently lives and works in Liverpool.

Recent solo exhibitions include Spectral Lines at The Last Gallery in Llangadog, Hand to Hand, part of SPECTRUM at Wolstenholme Creative Space in Liverpool and J A M B A L A Y A (a two person presentation with Sam Venables) as part of FAVELA at The Royal Standard in Liverpool. alongside HELD, an ongoing collaborative photographic project for Liverpool Biennial 2012.

Recent group exhibitions include One Night Stand, an ongoing series of one night only exhibitions curated by Mermaid & Monster, so far presented at Trade Gallery, Nottingham, Goat Major Projects, Cardiff and Movement, Worcester, THE MAN DON'T GIVE A FUCK at Motorcade|FlashParade in Bristol and participation in the Art Lending Library during the Glasgow International Festival of Visual Art.

Kevin also participated in Rendez-Vous 09, at the Institut d’art Contemporain, during the 10th Biennale de Lyon in 2009, curated DEADPAN at The Royal Standard during the Liverpool Biennial in 2010 and co-founded CAVE, Liverpool's inaugural contemporary art fair presented during the opening weekend of the Liverpool Biennial in 2012, alongside a solo presentation of work with Stephane Simoens Gallery at Art Brussels in 2011.
