Ian Richard Netton
Ian Richard Netton is the Sharjah Professor of Islamic Studies and Acting Director of the Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies at the University of Exeter. He is the author or editor of nineteen books of which some of the most recent are Islam, Christianity and the Mystic Journey: A Comparative Exploration (2011), Islam, Christianity and Tradition: A Comparative Exploration (2006) and (ed.) Islamic Philosophy and Theology (2007). Professor Netton is also the General Editor of The British Journal of Middle Eastern Studies.
