Childish Things 9: Comedy Night: Paul Foot, David Armand, Hal Cruttenden, Out of the Blue, Sara Pascoe, Steve Shanyaski
Helen and Douglas House are proud to announce Childish Things 9.
Paul Foot
Camp crusader whose pedantry, bluff and innuendo ridden rants have made him an audience favourite. He has previously been voted BBC comedian of the year. He is also an Open Mic Award winner and Perrier Newcomer Nominee. So he's pretty good then!

Hal Cruttenden
After an extremely busy 2009 supporting Rob Brydon on his sold out UK tour and a critically acclaimed performance on The Royal Variety Show, 2010 looks to follow a similar vein with autumn appearances on BBC TV's Michael McIntyre Roadshow and The Rob Brydon show. It's safe to say Hal is one of the UK's fastest rising comedy stars and he is here to present his own unique comic vision. He's angry … but not sure why! "A delightful surprise… warm-hearted, quick- witted observations about being a camp, middle class heterosexual." - The Daily Telegraph

Sara Pascoe
Sara Pascoe is a British writer, stand-up comedian and actress. She has appeared in a number of television programmes, as well as an all-female sketch show and her own Edinburgh show, and runs comedy club The House Of Mirth.
Sara's stand-up is influenced by her joint favourite heroes, Jodie Marsh and Winston Churchill.
'Always intelligent and occasionally exquisite' (The Independent)
'Pascoe uses erudite references as just one strand of an offbeat worldview, offset by moments of gloriously deliberate dumbness and delivered with nothing less than full-megawatt charisma' (The Guardian)
'... defiantly idiosyncratic and highly accessible' (Evening Standard).

Steve Shanyaski
A laid back, silly and utterly charismatic comedian. His shows combine surreal tales with cleverly crafted songs. Steve has a gift for creating immersive performances from acute observations.
'Absolutely stormed it' - The Mail.
