Being English Book Launch

To coincide with The Less-Favoured Land exhibition, the museum is delighted to be hosting the launch of Patrick Ward’s new book, Being English, on Wednesday 29 October.

The book showcases a collection of Patrick’s work exploring the eccentricities of life in England. There will be an introduction to Patrick’s work by Ian Beesley Hon FRPS, a social documentary photographer with a career spanning thirty years and course leader for Photography at the University of Bolton.

This will be followed by a Q&A session. Signed copies of the book, which includes many of the images on display in The Less-Favoured Land, will be available to buy at a discounted price.

This is event is free, but booking is advised. Please email to book your place.
