The Cornelius Crane
The Cornelius Crane are a group of collective musicians and writers from the east of Manchester. They have an ethos of making music with no constrictions of trend or pressures of economics, merely tracking down what appeals to them in the moment, broaching subjects as diverse as corporate urbanisation to sexual eaves dropping.
Their ‘Americana’ soaked influences, which are all easy to pick up on - CSN&Y, The Band, Neil Young and co are all there - but its the way they harness them and bring some thing very British to it all which makes it some thing their own.
