Deicide
Florida death metallers signed to the legendary Earache label. Fronted by out-to-shock vocalist Glen Benton, known for his controversial views on religion and animals, Deicide's opinions have sometimes overshadowed their music. However, when you've been described as sounding "like Slayer, intensified a thousand times", their music will always speak louder.
Their first two albums, Deicide and Legion, are ranked second and third place in best-selling death metal albums of the SoundScan era.
