The Hush
The Hush is a six-piece band which brings a world and rock slant to the songs of North East England. Durham troubadour Bob Fox co-fronts the band with Jed Grimes, formerly guitarist with Jack the Lad and Hedgehog Pie. The Hush combines modern instruments and arrangements with a traditional sensibility to present the North East's rich and vibrant repertoire. The great songs from the area are the cornerstone of the Hush's performance. Whether exhibiting the region's strong social conscience or speaking of the heart, these songs have an astonishing poetic power.
