Never miss another 'Bastille' show
Bastille + To Kill A King
With their new album 'Bad Blood' set for release in March 2013, the band head out for their biggest tour to date in February.
A busy summer saw them play over 30 festivals, and culminated in a storming, tent-packed set at Reading and a live performance on BBC3. Having only released a couple of singles, and yet to release a debut album, Bastille have already sold out two headline tours this year and headlined London's Koko in October, which sold out months in advance and saw fans ecstatically singing along to every word.
It seems there is no stopping the London-based band, whose ever increasing fanbase are clearly connecting with the band's haunting melodies, strong narratives and rhythmic backbone.

Bastille
Virgin/EMI signings Bastille deliver bewitching electro-pop. Fronted by Dan Smith, the band got their name due to the fact Dan's birthday falls on Bastille Day. He also wanted something neutral yet evocative enough to describe his rhythmically and melodically inventive pop music. Since their inception in 2010, the band have steadily built up an ever-growing audience, resulting in debut album 'Bad Blood' reaching the no.1 position in the UK album charts in March 2013.

To Kill A King
A folk-inspired five piece with comparisons being made from Keane to Arcade Fire. To Kill A King’s songs begin with lead singer Ralph Pelleymounter’s acoustic compositions, around which the band work in drums, bass, electric guitar, synth and other instruments. They focus on Pelleymounter’s lyrical narrative, with accompaniments ranging from tender instrumentals to climactic orchestral passages including strings, brass and five-part harmonies.
