Shonen Knife
All-girl Japanese 3-piece punk-pop band, with catchy tunes coming on like a female Buzzcocks or Ramones. They were championed by the late Kurt Cobain and were personally chosen by Simpsons creator Matt Groening to play 2010's All Tomorrow's Parties festival in Minehead. After recently celebrating their 30th anniversary, 2012 sees the release of their 18th album 'Pop Tune'.
