The Forum is the Millennium project for the East of England. It is a striking example of 20th century architecture and a landmark in Norwich city centre. Over 2.5 million local people and city visitors walk into The Forum each year. It is open every day, except Christmas Day and Boxing Day, from 7am until midnight. Much of what happens inside and outside The Forum is free to enjoy and available to the whole community. It offers a mix of art, culture, learning, leisure, information, entertainment, technology and conference facilities. The Forum is also a hub for celebrating and showcasing the talent and achievements of people in the Eastern region. Inside The Forum visitors will find the stunning Atrium, a public meeting place used for exhibitions and events. There is also the Fusion Digital Gallery, the Millennium Library, BBC East's headquarters, Norwich Tourist Information Centre, further education services, a shop and two restaurants, including PizzaExpress. The Forum also offers excellent meeting and corporate hospitality facilities and is home to The Curve, a state-of-the-art auditorium. The Forum is surrounded by a series of public plains and an Amphitheatre, which is used all year round for entertainment and community-led events.
