Acoustic Guitars In An Electric Pairing: Thurston Moore + Michael Chapman
Chapman and Moore will be playing a full set on their own before collaborating at the end of each evening’s performance. It promises to be a rare treat for all lovers of classic, stylish and experimental guitar music and distinctly original song writing.

Thurston Moore has been playing music and liberating rock n roll since the late 70s when he walked the downtown jungle of punk/post-punk/no wave NYC and started the band Sonic Youth. Ever since, he and the band have consistently stayed true to the authenticity and creativity of radical rock n roll idealism. Moore was ranked 34th in Rolling Stone's 2004 edition of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time.".

'Michael Chapman was never just a singer-songwriter - his gritty brand of guitar based songs span folk, ragtime, jazz and blues with a world-weary voice singing words of bitter experience. His percussive style of playing is so very distinctive and he was first known on the British folk circuit in '67 where he soon established a reputation for intensity & innovation.
This man is so laid back that he makes JJ Cale sound like he's on helium.'
