The Fureys

The Fureys are on the road and coming to the Maddermarket Theatre in May 2015. First formed in 1976, they hail from Ballyfermot in Dublin and have had hits such as 'When You Were Sweet Sixteen', 'Gallipoli', 'The Red Rose Cafe', 'Steal Away' and 'The Green Fields of France'. Last September they released their new CD 'the Times They Are A Changing' - a collection of songs written by great writers and performers they have met over the years, including Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Ewan McColl, Pete Seeger, Jim Croce and Gordon Lightfoot.
