Rachmininov Piano Concerto No.2
The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, under the baton of remarkable young conductor Alexander Shelley, present a concert featuring the glorious melodies, extensive lyricism and divine harmonies of Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No.2, with the young piano virtuoso Alessio Bax as soloist. The programme also includes another uniquely Russian masterpiece, Glinka’s whirlwind Overture To Ruslan And Ludmila and an impressive concert finale with Shostakovich’s Fifth Symphony.
