St Os Fest: Paul Smith (Maximo Park)
Some of the North East’s biggest bands are joining forces in aid of St Oswald’s Hospice in a brand new fundraising event, St Os Fest.
Bands will perform as their favourite artists in the style of ‘Stars in their Eyes' and the night will be rounded off with a DJ set by Maximo Park front man, Paul Smith.
Paul Smith (Maximo Park)
The lead singer of indie upstarts Maximo Park. Paul's 2010 solo album 'Margins' features contributions from Field Music's David Brewis and Peter Brewis. However, this does not mark the demise of Maximo Park, as Paul states "I'm not 'going solo' – it's not like George Michael leaving Wham!"
