Waackin' was born during the 70s in LA, into underground and generally ostracised communities. As a result it is a dance of passion, soul and drama.

Waackin is built of three elements - Waackin, Punkin and Posing. In this workshop we will look at all three and see how we use each element to relate to the disco/ funk music synonymous with the style. The session will include a choreographed sequence using all Waackin elements. A brief history of each styles and the music which inspires it will also be given.
