Normal Service Will Be Resumed

Popular Ministry of Entertainment return to the Regal Theatre with their show Normal Service Will Be Resumed.

Stanton Drew is the voice of wartime Britain. Broadcasting to the nation, his velvety tones and cut glass accent help keep the country’s collective chin up. But today Gracie Fields is stuck in her air raid shelter, the Radio Tap Dancers have fallen out and started tapping each other on the head and the live broadcast from Buckingham Palace is looking less than perky.

Chaos reigns, but the fate of the nation’s morale is in his hands. Who can help Stanton keep the show on air? New studio assistant Skippy Catford may not be the sharpest tool in the box, but there aren’t really any other alternatives…

MoE’s new show is a perfect blend of period songs, excellent theatre and hilarious comedy.

They have been bringing their shows to the Regal since their beginning in 1997, with theatre experiences based on collected personal and family anecdotes from the Second World War era.
