Devo
Post-punk rock group Devo who, formed in the early seventies, make music comparable to Pixies and Sonic Youth but with a wierd sci-fi twist.
Devo tour dates
Spiritualized
Formed out of the ashes of the sadly missed Spacemen 3. Spiritualized have consistently made music that epitomises the phrase 'Junkie Cool'. Amazing songs about life, death, love, sex, drugs and the big guy upstairs. Live they are incredible and could have anything from a small horn section to a full orchestra to back them up, and a pretty cool light show too.
Spiritualized tour dates
Beirut
Zach Condon begin releasing albums at the tender age of fifteen under the names of Real People and 1971. Now settled as Beirut, Zach and his band layer eastern European instrumentals with American folk sensibilities, topped off with Zach's bitter-sweet vocals, reminiscent of such heroes as Thom Yorke and Jeff Buckley.
Beirut tour dates
The Jesus Lizard
The seminal Chicago alt-rock band reunite and return in 2009. A contemporary of like-minded acts such as Fugazi, Helmet, the Melvins and Nirvana, the Jesus Lizard are revered for their visceral noise-rock attack, driven by Yow's unhinged persona.
The Jesus Lizard tour dates
Sleep
Legendary stoner rock band Sleep split in 1998 after two hugely influential albums and members went on to form underground heroes High On Fire and Om. Sleep are Al Cisneros (bass / vocals), Matt Pike (guitar) and Jason Roeder (drums).
Sleep tour dates
M83
A duo from Antibes, France who perform live as a fearsome four-piece. 'A perfect gene-splice between Joy Division's sombre somnambulant throb and the ballooning-pupil dynamics of My Bloody Valentine.' (NME)
M83 tour dates
Killing Joke
With a reputation forged in fire, brimstone and magic, Killing Joke have long been one of rock's most iconic & influential outfits. They returned in 2008 with their original line-up of Jaz Coleman (vocals and keyboards), Geordie (guitar) and Youth (bass) and Paul Ferguson (drums) and continue to tour and record.
Killing Joke tour dates
Anti-Pop Consortium
'Anti-Pop Consortium have long sought to push the conventions of hip-hop, poetry and any other genre you care to mention. Melding sonic experimentation with elaborate lyricism, Beans, High priest, M Sayyid and producer Earl Blaize tease the ghost back into the shell of pop's shattered carapace' (Mean Fiddler).
Anti-Pop Consortium tour dates
Health

Shearwater tour dates
The Cave Singers
Seattleās Cave Singers never listened to much folk music, they never intended to play folk music, and more importantly, their guitarist never picked up the instrument until recently. Yet, this strange trio is writing and performing some of the most hypnotizing folk music we have today. Live, the Cave Singers are a band who many critics acclaim as unmissable.
The Cave Singers tour dates
Marnie Stern

Marnie Stern tour dates
Sleepy Sun
Sleepy Sun is an apt title for this young San Francisco sextet, as their debut record, 'Embrace', is one of those rare slabs of rock and roll that will wake you up in the morning, and send you off to sleep at night. After honing their craft in the occult influenced creative community of Santa Cruz, the band has continued to grow, both creatively and in their loyal following, since their relocation to the city by the bay. With their throbbing rhythm section, swirling sea of guitars, and dreamy, haunting duet vocals, the word dynamic is a severe understatement.
Sleepy Sun tour dates
The Acorn
Lush Canadian folk-pop for fans of Sufjan Stevens and Midlake. 'Nods to fellow countrymen Arcade Fire and nu-folk sensations Fleet Foxes. From this Acorn, mighty oaks will grow' -The Sun.
The Acorn tour dates

School of Seven Bells
School of Seven Bells formed nearly six years ago as a trio: vocalist Alejandra Deheza, guitarist/producer Benjamin Curtis, and ex-vocalist/synth player Claudia Deheza. Their debut album, Alpinisms, hit streets via Ghostly International in 2008 and garnered much attention for the band's eclectic mix of introspective rock and poppy electronic tones. In the years to follow, the trio released the critically acclaimed sophomore album, Disconnect From Desire and toured both domestically and internationally with the likes of Interpol, Blonde Redhead, and label-mates Active Child to name a few. Now a duo, Alejandra Deheza and Benjamin Curtis have evolved their sound on thrid album 'Ghostory'.
