Last Mad Surge Of Youth Tour
Once a regular at the Stables with his old band The Christians, Henry Priestman (the writer behind all those Christians’ hits in the 1980s and Yachts’ songs in the 1970s) has reinvented himself as a singer-songwriter. In 2008 he released his debut solo CD The Chronicles of Modern Life to critical acclaim and considerable BBC Radio 2 airplay.
Now at last, he’s ready to release the eagerly awaited follow-up entitled The Last Mad Surge of Youth and having discovered a love of live work (mixing ramshackle chaos and tear-jerking poignancy in equal measures!), he’s heading out on the road this Spring. Expect a few of the old hits as well as songs from both of his excellent solo albums.
