Having been coached by the Allegri, Belcea and Brodsky Quartets, Scotland's new young quartet will play an important role in our musical life. 20-year-old former Douglas Academy student Tom Harrold, another young Scot, won the BBC Proms/Guardian Young Composers' Competition in 2007. His short new piece was commissioned for our 70th Anniversary.
