Flashing Eyes is a new musical with book by Gordon Clarkson and music and lyrics by Len Brooks.

It re-tells the eternal tale of love at first sight, the courtship that follows with its ups and downs, tears and laughter, and is set in 1950's Margate.

Mary, on leave from the Army, and David from the Navy, meet on Chatham Station whilst waiting for the last train home and are instantly attracted to each other. They discover that only recently, both their families have settled in the same town. The story of their courtship and that of their respective families, begins at this moment.... played against the backdrop of Margate in those golden post war years.....
