Cats (Youth Group Production)

Based on the Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats by T.S. Eliot, Inspirations and Directions present a youth production of this well-loved musical which includes the smash-hit song, Memory.

Set on a gigantic rubbish dump which after dark becomes alive with cats of all types, shapes and sizes, Cats tells the story of a tribe of cats called the Jellicles. The many felines gather for the Jellicle Ball during which one cat will be selected by the Jellicle Leader and awarded an extra precious life. One by one we learn about their personalities as they strut their stuff. Was there ever a cat so clever as magical Mr. Mistoffelees? Is there a rock-star idol amongst the gang? Who are the most glamorous and mischievous? Come along and find out!
