Never miss another 'We Are Augustines' show
We Are Augustines + Folks
Following the success of their sold out UK tour in May and the critically acclaimed album 'Rise Ye Sunken Ships', Brooklyn's We Are Augustines announce their return for a full UK tour in October.
Talking about the work that goes into their ever-growing live performances, bass player Eric Sanderson says: "It's important to us that our shows are very celebratory and that the audience feels like they're part of what we're doing - that we're all in this room together, creating a memory. We want people to have a cathartic experience - but still dance all night long, and walk away smiling."
And that is exactly what to expect in October when the band return to finish an incredible year to play their final shows in the UK before taking time out to think about recording their second full length album.
Brooklyn trio Billy McCarthy, Eric Sanderson and Rob Allen.

Folks conjure up a powerful blend of soulful melodies with intelligent left-field lyrics, laced with psychedelic guitar and a dose of pop sensibility.
Bringing together classic songwriting with emotive vocals and irresistible melodies, Folks make music to be listened to and enjoyed over and over. The band were formed when guitarist and writer Michael Beasley hooked up with vocalist Scott Anderson, and they relocated to the US to record what would end up being their debut album, to be released early 2012.
On their return, the duo pulled together a full band (Thom Fripp – lead guitar, Harry Gumery – bass, Wil Akroyd - keyboards and Elliot Barlow –drums) which ensured this group could also let rip live.
