The Subways + Royal Republic + Turbowolf
Entering the New Year armed with a sold out UK tour, several sold out European live sorties and numerous festival appearances, two UK radio hits and a third album 'Money And Celebrity' under their collective arm, The Subways have confirmed a Spring UK tour.
The band release 'It's A Party' on January 2nd, and bring their bittersweet infectious arsenal of hits to a venue near you, continuing their upwards trajectory since their return in the summer of 2011.
Royal Republic are the main guests, with Turbowolf opening on each of the dates.
The Subways
The Welwyn Garden City trio (Billy Lunn – guitar/vocals, Charlotte Cooper – bass/vocals and Josh Morgan – drums) started playing in their local area in 2003 and, after beating 5000 applicants, they were picked by Michael Eavis to play at Glastonbury. Hype surrounded them in the wake of that performance, and judging by the relentless urgent energy and polished songwriting they are able to conjure up, it seems justified.
