Greg only got into stand up after seeing an appeal in Gary Bushell's column for ITV's talent hunt, Take The Mic. Ever since, his gruff, no-nonsense working-class approach has given him a unique comedy voice. Mixing observational comedy with topical material from the previous days headlines, he is unafraid to throw his opinions into the mix, but regularly has the audience in stitches. He has been decribed as 'Les Dawson for the 21st century' by John Plowman, head of BBC Comedy.

An accomplished act and MC, he marries a distinctive animated delivery with a scatologically cerebral comic voice and a keen eye for the absurd. He boastfully maintains the unique record of being the only comedian ever - as far as he is aware, or is reasonably likely - to have written a joke about galvanising dustbins (and a rather good one at that). This stands as testament to his ability to mine comedy gold from even the most unlikely of seams.
