Bizet, Elgar And Mozart
Witness Manchester Camerata’s first performance in the newly refurbished RNCM Concert Hall in a dynamic programme that sees Bizet’s less familiar masterpiece, Symphony in C, paired with two of the greatest pieces of classical music. Mesmerising Principal Cello, Hannah Roberts, performs Elgar's elegiac Cello Concerto no.1 – considered to be one of the most popular concertos of the 20th century. Mozart’s penultimate symphony (no.40), brings the evening to a dramatic conclusion.
"The levels of animation and musical energy are so high in the Camerata - we want people to have a vivid live experience every time." Hannah Roberts, Principal Cello
