They said it would never happen, but Ian Brown, John Squire, Reni and Mani have put aside their differences for one of the most hotly anticipated reunions of 2011.
The Stone Roses - Ian Brown, John Squire, Gary 'Mani' Mounfield and Alan 'Reni' Wren - were one of the pioneering bands of the 'Madchester' scene in the late '80s-early '90s. Their eponymously named debut album, released in 1989, is still regarded as one of the greatest British albums of all time. The Stone Roses eventually split in 1996 following the departures of both Reni and John Squire. In 2012, the original members finally put aside their differences to stage one of the most acclaimed reunion tours in rock music history.

Plan B (Ben Drew) singer-songwriter, rapper, actor and film director came to prominence with the 2006 release of the critically acclaimed hip hop album 'Who Needs Actions When You Got Words'. The East Londoner can spit rhymes and hold his own against any MC or rapper, but can then suddenly switch into a delicate, sweet white soul croon that would shame any boyband member. He accompanies himself on an acoustic guitar, playing in a curiously folksy, fingerpicking style. But the killer punch is the lyrics - bleak, cinematic, X-rated urban poetry laced with a mordant wit and a strong dose of pathos.

Do they really need an introduction? The former backing group of the late Bob Marley are reggae legends in their own right. The anchor of the band is Aston 'Family Man' Barrett, who, in addition to being Marley's most trusted lieutenant, played on countless other classic reggae hits throughout the '70s. The authenticity he brings to the Wailers' sound is indisputable and yet today's line-up combines old school know-how with lead vocals from one of Jamaica's most exciting new singers, Koolant, who joined the Wailers soon after his cameo appearance in the film Made In Jamaica.
