Grimm Christmas Spooktacular

Grimm Up North present two big screen supernatural horror movie premieres for Christmas 2012. A splendid double bill combining suitably seasonal snowbound chills and supernatural shocks!

The Corridor:
Following his mother's death, Tyler suffers a nervous breakdown, which results in him severing the flesh of this childhood friends. Years later, the group of friends decide to reunite for a weekend at his late mother's country house in an attempt to rebuild friendships. Isolated deep in the snow covered forest, they stumble upon a mysterious supernatural hallway in the middle of the woods, which seems to give them a sense of euphoria. However it soon becomes clear that this energy force is transforming them into something much darker as one by one they turn on each other, taking their evil to the next level. Mayhem leads to murder as it escalates into a psychedelic race for sanity.

When The Lights Went Out:
Yorkshire, 1974, the Maynard family moves into their dream house. It's a dream that quickly descends into a panic stricken nightmare as the family discovers a horrifying truth that will make the history books. The house is already occupied by the most violent poltergeist ever documented, a poltergeist that will tear you from your bed as you sleep and drag you helplessly into the darkness.
As the attacks on the family become increasingly violent and terrifying, it becomes clear that the exorcism of the poltergeist will be their only chance for survival. Based on true events that occurred at No. 30 East Drive on the Chesterfield Estate, Pontefract, West Yorkshire. The subject of a plethora of research group studies, books and newspaper reports, this is the horrifying story of what really happened.

Alongside these movies, there will also be festive fun and lots of raffle prizes up for grabs. The Grimm Stall will be selling off stock at cheap prices: DVDs, tshirts, posters etc.
There is also a bar to enjoy a cheap festive drink.
