Manchester International Festival: Goldfrapp
Manchester International Festival is proud to present two very special evenings with Goldfrapp. The duo release their long-awaited sixth studio album late this summer and these exclusive shows offer a rare opportunity for fans to hear the new album live for the very first time.
These never to be repeated performances will be accompanied by the Royal Northern College of Music’s string orchestra over two nights at Manchester’s Albert Hall, giving fans their first glimpse at what's to come next for one of Britain's most innovative artists.

Goldfrapp
Alison Goldfrapp is the former vocalist with Tricky. As Goldfrapp, she teamed up synth wizard Will Gregory, producing five critically-acclaimed albums, from 2000's ambient and epic debut 'Felt Mountain' through to 2010's 'Head First', venturing into an 80's sound. With earlier electro hits 'Strict Machine' and 'Ooh La La' to recent stompers 'Rocket' and 'Alive', their brand of dirty growling synth-pop, along with stunning vocals and costumes from Alison, always ensure an atmospheric and glamorous live performance.
