Never miss another 'The Harlem Globetrotters' show
You Write The Rules: The Harlem Globetrotters
The world famous Harlem Globetrotters will bring their 2013 'You Write The Rules' World Tour to the UK next year, returning with a new team and brand new show. Tipping off in March, the team will be displaying their skills to audiences across the country and packing in plenty of fun for all the family along the way.
Reknowned worldwide for their top class basketball tricks and one-of-a-kind family entertainment, the Harlem Globetrotters perform to thousands of people in hundreds of countries every year, continuing the team's legacy which began in 1926.
Over the years, as well as breaking basketball records, the teams have broken social and cultural barriers – featuring on the cover of Life magazine in the 1940s, becoming the first basketball team to play in Europe and selling out a tour of the Soviet Union during the Cold War in 1959 to mention just a few.
The Harlem Globetrotters
Having played their first game in 1927, The Harlem Globetrotters are basketball's most legendary and popular team. Over the last 80 years they have played over 20,000 games and are made up of some of the best professional athletes in the world today. They have created such basketball legends as Meadowlark Lemon, Curly Neal, Goose Tatum, Marques Haynes and 'Sweet' Lou Dunbar and have the highest winning percentage of any professional sports team in the world. Seeing the Harlem Globetrotters live is a treat for anyone, of any age, whether a basketball fan or not.
