Never miss another 'The Beach Boys' show
An Evening With: The Beach Boys
Currently touring together in the USA for the first time in more than two decades, The Beach Boys will be bringing their 50th anniversary tour to London's Wembley Arena this Autumn.
The Beach Boys 50th Anniversary Tour dates in North America have stunned audiences and had rave reviews. The band, who performed together at the 2012 GRAMMY Awards, will also release their new studio album, 'That's Why God Made The Radio', on June 4th through EMI. It will be the first to feature all of the band's surviving original members in decades and is produced by Brian Wilson and executive produced by Mike Love.
The Beach Boys and EMI have also teamed up for a 50th Anniversary campaign spotlighting the band's entire catalogue, with several new commemorative releases planned for 2012, including a new hits collection and a career-spanning box set.
The Beach Boys
Californian surfing feelgood music from the golden age of the 60s & 70s. The band have been through it all in their career, spanning five decades; deaths, court battles, line up changes and walk-outs - there isn't much these guys haven't seen or done. 'Surfin' USA', 'Little Deuce Coupe', 'God Only Knows' and 'Good Vibrations' are just some of the songs on their seemingly never ending list of hits. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988 and recipients of The Recording Academy's Lifetime Achievement GRAMMY Award, The Beach Boys are an American institution that is iconic around the world. The founding members, Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston and David Marks of The Beach Boys, are reuniting for a global 50th Anniversary Celebration in 2012.
