A Treasure Hunt With Old Father Thames

Our River Thames has enjoyed visits from fisherman, traders, pirates for centuries! Who can imagine what treasures have fallen overboard and lie beneath its gentle flow.
Join Old Father Thames as he tells the stories of the River and help him and his band of merry River Scavengers to hunt for treasure for the Goddess Isis. She has protected the river for 100s of years and is said to visit the water side once a year.

Children will hear exciting stories from a master storyteller, learn a dance and a song as they hunt for Isis, and make sparkly treasure to offer to her. They will start in Studio 1 and go on adventure through the centre down to our special riverside treasure trove.

Familiar faces at the Polka Theatre and Horniman Museum, this is the first time Tea Dance for Little People will present an interactive adventure at Watermans.
