The 2012 Camden Crawl, scheduled for Friday 4th – Sunday 6th May, will be one of Olympic proportions. Now in its 11th year, the festival will stretch to three days over the first May bank holiday weekend with the addition of its brand new opening night extravaganza hosted on Friday 4th May.
The opening night marathon will be held at the area's historic KOKO venue. Death In Vegas have been confirmed as the special guest headliner on a bill that will feature six live acts from 5pm and culminate with a special edition of Club NME until 4am.
In addition to the Crawl's famously impressive evening live music schedule, the festival boasts an extensive arts festival throughout each day of the event. From midday to 6:00pm, the confirmed programme for the 2012 daytime fringe includes cutting edge events from various disciplines, including comedy, storytelling & spoken word, unconventional theatre, craft, visual art and traditional music. It also features a variety of outdoor events, an alternative poster, print & record fair as well as interactive fun & games.
**Tickets are to be exchanged for wristbands which allow unlimited entry to each of the participating venues as individual capacities permit. Ticket price includes lanyard programme guide, festival magazine and 2012 compilation album.**
There is no Niki, and there is no Dove! Duo Gustaf Karlöf and Malin Dahlström are an electro-pop band from Stockholm. Malin's haunting vocals have been compared to Siouxsie, Florence, Hazel O'Connor, Zola Jesus and Natasha Kahn (Bat For Lashes).

Originally conceived as a guitar based project, NZCA/LINES has been transformed into a suave, synth-pop sensation that combines pop melodies with R&B beats and lush arrangements with multi layered harmonies.
NZCA Lines tour dates
Outfit are a romantic blend of Postcard Records pop and synth-laden disco. They’re gentle and melodic, melding futurism and nostalgia at once. This is indie pop at its grandest; sweeping, majestic and refined.

Straddling the comedy and music worlds like a tracksuit wearing colossus, Limerick's Rubberbandits have manipulated and bullied their way to a level far beyond either their talent or intellect. Songs like "Bag of Glue", "Too Many Gee" and "Up Da Ra" have made them the 12th most popular MySpace page in the whole of Ireland. With prank phone calls, songs and riotous live shows Rubberbandits have emerged as the country's surrealists beyond compare. Comedic genius or verbal diarrhoea, decide for yourselves.

"They've been dubbed 'East London's answer to The Strokes' or 'Dalston's Kaiser Chiefs', Spector's melancholic widescreen pop owes as much to the likes of Roxy Music and Pulp and has more than a touch of the New Romantic about it." - BBC Sound Of 2012
Spector tour dates
London duo The Big Pink whose drone-led soundscapes and dreamy vocals put them somewhere in the same category as MGMT and has led to support slots with the likes of TV On The Radio.

The Raincoats were formed by Ana Da Silva, and Gina Birch in 1977, signed to Rough Trade records, and released their seminal self titled debut album in 1979. They went on to release a further 3 albums before breaking up in 1984, but decided to reform in 1993 following a meeting with Kurt Cobain who had stated that they were his favourite band of all time. While in London in 1992 Kurt had sought out Ana, wrote about the meeting on Nirvana's 'Incesticide' album, and wrote the sleeve notes for the reissue of their first 3 albums. The Raincoats were due to support Nirvana on their 1994 U.K tour, but sadly Kurt died the week before the tour was due to begin.
They also number Kim Gordon of Sonic Youth and Robert Wyatt amongst their fans. The Raincoats have subsequently released one more album, an E.P, and 2 singles and recently toured North America.

A four piece alternative band from London that don't take themselves too seriously.
"Throwing Up make super cool snarly stripped-down punk that sounds to these ears like a catchy post-grunge echo of DC's Chalk Circle mixed with a bit of that lo-fi Messthetics-style hustle bustle".
Throwing Up tour dates
Gentle folk sounds. They have been raising eyebrows amongst fans, who now number the likes of Huw Stephens, Steve Lamacq and Tom Robinson, taking their well known ear for a melody into new and darker musical territory.
