Since they burst onto the music scene in 1990, the alt-rockers from Bellshill have made a huge impact on music with their Byrds-esque guitars and harmony vocals. Although pigeonholed as an alternative band, they are known for incorporating a wide variety of elements from various music styles in their songs.

Formed in 2004, minimalist eighties-influenced punk-dance band New Young Pony Club have gone from strength to strength. Influenced by the likes of Iggy Pop and Blondie they make synth based pop topped with sexy scrawling vocals from lead singer Tahita. ‘…like Debbie Harry singing over a Frankie Knuckles tune played by Joy Division.’ - AngryApe

It's been said before and it'll be said again: Dynamite is blowin' up! When 'Booo!' catapulted Ms Dynamite into the spotlight in May 2001, it swiftly established the London MC as one of the hottest young talents to emerge from the capital's fertile UK garage scene. Winner of the Mercury Music Prize 2002 and 3 MOBO awards in the same year.

Electro-pop project I Blame Coco is essentially the voice of young actress and model Coco Sumner, daughter of Sting. Despite the family connection, musically Coco is a million miles away from her father, instead delivering pulsating slick synth electro tuneage. Rather than The Police, her material has more in common with the likes of Ladytron, Lady Gaga and Robyn, who coincidentally appears as a guest vocalist on the debut single 'Caesar'. I Blame Coco's debut album 'The Constant' looks set to make Coco an electro-pop star in her own right.
I Blame Coco tour dates
Riotous Leeds four-piece whose punk/metal crossover pays more than a slight homage to the sounds of Seattle. Their speed-fuelled thunderous guitars and high-octane vocals draw comparisons to a crazier Queens Of The Stone Age, an artier At The Drive-In or a shoutier Shellac. With crazy song titles 'I Punched A Lion In The Throat', 'I've Got Guestlist To Rory O'Hara's Suicide' and 'Back To The F**k Yeah', the Leeds noisesmiths have a mischievous sense of humour beneath their screeching hardcore jams.
Pulled Apart By Horses tour dates
New York rockers making spangly electro and disco-laced synth-pop. 'They make your feet twitch, your head nod and...make you throw up some shapes your body never knew existed.' - Dazed & Confused

Stornoway began quietly one freshers' week at Oxford University, when lead singer and principal songwriter Brian Briggs approached Jon Ouin (keys/banjo/electric guitar/cello) and asked if he happened to like Teenage Fanclub. They began playing music together soon afterwards, in the dining hall of Wolfson College and immediately set to work on their own fledgling compositions.

Q Magazine - 'This Debut, recorded at Ray Davies's Konk Studios, follows up on the promise of a brace of EPs (King Island Coyote and Once On The Grand Union) and proves their fine-tuning has paid dividends. London's seedy underbelly hasn't been chronicled this vividly since The Libertines' debut.'
Artrocker Magazine - 'A band who've hit their stride in an assured and superb manner.'
Billy Vincent tour dates
