DJ David Katz, Jamtone Hi-Fi, Darren Jamtone, Robert Dallas, Sun-I Tafari

A night of deep roots reggae, old and new, featuring Jamtone Hi-Fi, with guest selector, Darren Jamtone, alongside the night's regular host, DJ David Katz.

Roots reggae connoisseurs will already be familiar with Jamtone, one of London's premier roots reggae labels, with its affiliated sound system and recording studio; Darren's sensitive productions have featured veteran artists such as The Viceroys, Ranking Joe, Bob Skeng, Cornell Campbell and Wire Lindo of the Wailers band.

Tonight's session will feature the live vocal talents of Jamaican-born singer Robert Dallas, and fellow vocalist Sun-I Tafari (coming all the way from Cardiff), giving sneak previews of Dallas' forthcoming Jamtone LP, Tradition Man, with a live horn section to boot. This is real roots reggae, live and direct!
