Words escaped us when we discovered this Senegalese gem in the depths of London. Diabel Cissokho is a master of the Kora and Ngoni (west African lute), he is a phenomenal singer and composer, and has enough positive energy to power a small country. Diabel's virtuosic talent, as well as his expression and sensitivity when playing has brought him much respect amongst his fellow musicians, who cross many genres of music from traditional African, to jazz and Afro-beat.
