Javier Limón, Magos Herrera

Javier Limon has produced a string of great albums by Mariza, Paco de Lucia and Buika – and now he’s so fired up by the great Mexican singer Magos Herrera that he’s decided to tour with her, and this is their only London appearance together!

Herrera’s smoky, emotional voice envelops the intense spirit of Limón’s flamenco guitar – there’s a powerful melodic spirit that is evoked when the two take the stage together. On their forthcoming album Almost Blue, they take a radically new approach to masters like Miles Davis, Chet Baker and Caetano Veloso.
